David Wayne Rose, age 88, of Donahue, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on Jan. 3, 1937, in Davenport, Iowa, to David Burson “D.B.” Rose and Marion (Teft) Rose, and was raised in the Village of East Davenport. He attended both Davenport High School and Bettendorf High School. more

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dallas, Texas, resident, Roger Bernard Mohr, on July 8, 2025, at the age of 76. Roger previously lived in Davenport and Rapids City, Ill.  Roger was born on Jan. 2, 1949, in Davenport, the oldest son of Tony and Margaret Mohr.  He graduated from Assumption High School, where he was a three-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball, and track. more
