Sally Ann Puls, 85, of Eldridge, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Fieldstone Memory Care DeWitt.
Visitation was 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Faith Lutheran Church Eldridge. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, at the church with an hour of visitation prior. Burial followed in Allen’s Grove Cemetery, Donahue. Memorials may be made in Sally’s name to Faith Lutheran Church, Eldridge. Please share condolences with the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Sally was born July 24, 1938, in Davenport, to Roy and Alice (Hoffman) Wiese. She graduated from DeWitt High School, Class of 1956. Sally was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Puls on Sept. 12, 1959, in Davenport. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2020.
Sally was committed to family and raising her four children. Later in life, she had worked at the former Central Trust & Savings in Eldridge. She enjoyed traveling, dancing with her husband, cooking, baking and gardening. She loved her card clubs, having played in a couple’s club for years with her husband and with several other ladies. She also looked forward to lunch meetings with her former high school classmates.
Those missing her dearly, children Sue (John) Strazewski, Steve (Georgia) Puls, Tim (Kim) Puls, and Tami Rowley; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Linda (Jerry) Wilson; nephew Matt (Christa) Wilson; and niece Julie Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
