Shirley Jean Woodford, 91, formerly of Long Grove, died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Senior Star at Elmore Place, Davenport. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Shirley Hartley was born Jan. 13, 1933, in Oakville, Iowa, the daughter of Phillip and Violet (Skeels) Hartley.
She married Charles Woodford on June 16, 1951. He preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2011.
Survivors include a son, Mark (Vicki) Woodford, Grand Mound; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society.
