Loren Harvey Thede, 78, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at The Ivy in Davenport. Services will be Saturday, June 22, at 2 p.m. at The Runge Mortuary. Loren was born on March 24, 1946, in Scott County. He was the son of Ralph and Esther (Schesser) Thede. He never married. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis.
He will be deeply missed by his siblings: sister, Donna Meyer, DeWitt; and brothers, Ron Thede, Eldridge, and Jimmy (Connie) Thede, Blue Grass; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, John Meyer; and sister-in-law, Rosalie Thede.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Genesis East, The Ivy, and Genesis Hospice for their care in his last weeks.
