Michael Lamb, 58, of Eldridge, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from complications stemming from his brave battle with sarcoidosis. Funeral services will be held at the Runge Mortuary on Saturday, July 6, at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. until service time. Michael will be laid to rest in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Long Grove. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Michael was born on May 31, 1966, in Seymour Ind., to James and Diana Lamb. On Oct. 3, 2004, he was united in marriage to Jennifer (Daisy) Bechert. Michael was very passionate about the business he owned with his wife, QC Kitchen and Bath Boutique. Michael was an avid sports fan, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chicago Cubs. He took pride in everything he did, but most of all he loved his family. Michael was able to give the ultimate gift of life by becoming an organ donor. He was able to help several people through his selfless donation.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 20 years, Daisy; children, Rosina Guyer, Mathew (Amanda) Lehna, Kaity Lamb, Mikey Lamb, Audrey Lamb, Maddux Lamb and Sydney Lamb; grandchildren, Laydon and Zander Boddicker; mother, Diana Lamb-Doss; brother, Ken Lamb; and his in-laws, Richard and Judy Bechert.
Michael is preceded in death by his father.
