A funeral service for Mary E. Smith, 89, of Davenport, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 19, from 3-7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Smith died Friday, Dec. 13, 2019.
Mary Hagan was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Davenport, the daughter of Cecil and Lenora (Gallatin) Hagan.
She married Eldon Smith on July 30, 1948. He died June 11, 2009.
She was a lifetime member of the Hep-Cat-Sub-Debs Group.
Her hobbies were traveling, spending time with her family, puzzles, crosswords, cross-stitch, and watching movies.
Survivors include her daughters, Toni (Bruce) Kriner, and Bethane (Ward) Longner; a son, Scott (Cindy) Smith; a son-in-law, Leon Walter; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Roxane; and four sisters.
