Rudy and Marlene Arp of Walcott will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception on Saturday, April 13. All friends and relatives are invited to call from 1-5 p.m. at the Walcott American Legion. No gifts, please.
Marlene Turkle and Rudy Arp were married April 18, 1964, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Mr. Arp was employed by Alcoa, retiring in 2001. Mrs. Arp was employed at Central Petroleum Company, Walcott, retiring in 2003.
They are the parents of Kevin Arp (Amanda Noble) of Urbandale, Todd Arp (Brian Donlan) of Chicago, Julie Arp (Jody Whestine) of Riverdale, and Debra Arp (Ben Champ) of Pleasant Hill.
Their grandchildren are Sydney (Caleb) Bailey, Tyler Whestine and Kyle Whestine.
