Christie Lee Risley, 72, of Davenport, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Nov. 3, from 1-3 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 511 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Davenport. The Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Christie Grosstick was born July 22, 1952, in Davenport, the daughter of Lee and Patricia (Halligan) Grosstick.
She married Russell Risley.
Survivors include her husband; her children, John (Shawna) Stein, Deann Hyatt, Daryl (Jennifer) Hyatt, Tony (Carol/Boots) Risley, and Azure Stein (Jeramy Johnson); 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Michael) Grosstick Hall, Rockford, Ill.; and a brother, Mark (Debbie) Kroeger, Bonita Springs, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous, No Time To Spare Animal Rescue in Warrenton, Mo., or King’s Harvest Animal Shelter.
