Matt Costello of Eldridge will celebrate his 80th birthday with a party on July 3 (today) starting at 5 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to join him at Ray’s Pub in Donahue. There will be a band from 6-9 p.m. No gifts, please.
Matt Costello was born July 4, 1944, in rural McCausland.
He retired from trucking in 2004. He has also been an auctioneer for 58 years and owns Costello Auction Service.
He is a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #14695 St. Ann’s, Long Grove.
His children are Yvonne (Phil) VanBlaricom of Eldridge and Brian (Lisa) Costello of Park View.
His grandchildren are Dillon, Lauren and Hunter (Kayla) VanBlaricom, Chelsea and Christian LaCarte, and Tyler Costello. He has five great-grandchildren.
