Carolyn and Curt Hulsen of Eldridge will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 18.
Carolyn Kumpf and Curt Hulsen were married Aug. 18, 1974, in Maquoketa.
Mr. Hulsen was an electrician from Local 145, retiring in 2015.
Mrs. Hulsen is a staff nurse at Genesis Medical Center and a nursing professor at Black Hawk College.
They are the parents of Kathryn Hester of Centennial, Colo., Kevin (Jenny) Hulsen of Olathe, Kan., and Kristen (Michael) Junius of Lakewood, Colo.
Their grandchildren are Whitney Hester, Paige Hester, Brielle Hulsen and Emmett Hulsen.
