Arthur and Suzanne Matje of Park View will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Aug. 15.
Suzanne Van De Kerckhove and Arthur Matje were married Aug. 15, 1964, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.
Mr. Matje was employed at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, retiring in 2000.
Mrs. Matje was employed by North Scott Foods, retiring in 2005.
They are the parents of Chris (Rhonda) Matje of Donahue, Craig (Diane) Matje of Davenport, and Art (Tammy) Matje of Frisco, Texas.
Their grandchildren are Nick Matje, Mitch (Brittany) Matje, Dakota Matje, Christian Davidson, Quincy Hardin, Zoe (Daniel) Killian, Trey Hardin and MK Matje.
Their grandchildren are Drake, Sophia, Wyatt, Elle, Eve, and Ember Lou.
