Sisler retirement agreement includes $122,000 payout

Without a word of public discussion, Eldridge council members voted 4-0 at a special Jan. 2 meeting to pay a negotiated retirement settlement of $122,726 to police chief Joe Sisler, including a full year’s salary, accrued vacation, sick time and comp time, and a lump sum to his retirement account.
