Wyatt was born on Jan. 16, 1936, in Davenport, the son of Herman and Florence (Goodell) Frahm.  He graduated from DeWitt High School in 1954.  After high school, he served in the Army as a diesel mechanic.  Wyatt married Diana Schroeder on Nov. 29, 1958, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Davenport.  They were blessed with 56½ years of marriage.

Wyatt had several jobs throughout his life. He worked as a diesel mechanic, drove a milk truck for Model Dairy, worked at Eagle Signal, worked for Aurora Casket Co. and he had his own handyman service.  But his two favorite jobs were being a farmer and a father to his five children.  Wyatt was a hard worker and loved and enjoyed working on God’s land.  He passed his great work ethic and love of the land on to his children.  Wyatt enjoyed going and supporting his kids at all their sporting events, helping them with their 4-H projects and livestock, riding horses and having bonfires and going on several canoe trips.

Wyatt and Diana also enjoyed spending time with their lifelong friends. They would spend time together going on their annual camping trips, going on trips to the East Coast to visit family, going to Texas, going on a couple cruises and on several day trips. They would also celebrate the holidays together, always having plenty of food and a good time.

Wyatt was an avid card player and was in several card groups.  He played Skat, Sheephead, Euchre, 500 and Pitch.  He also belonged to the Spragueville Legion, where he was the Commander for several years.

Those left to honor his memory include his sons, Jeff (Debbie) Frahm of Long Grove, Dale Frahm (Michelle Hawley) of Long Grove, Terry (Lacey) Frahm of Baldwin; and his daughter, Lisa Frahm of DeWitt; eight grandchildren, Jamie and Cassie, Jake, Alex and Samantha, Chance and Faith, Heather; nine great grandchildren; and two sisters, Cindy Dekeukeleire and Ruby Claussen.
