A funeral service for Theresa Shaw, 61, of Jeffersonville, Ind., was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany, Ind. Visitation was Friday, Aug. 18, from 4-8 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, New Albany.
Mrs. Shaw died Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, in Jeffersonville.
Theresa Shima was born Nov. 29, 1961, in Iowa City, the daughter of Dan and Delores (Stahle) Shima.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David Shaw; her children, Benjamin (Lauren) Shaw, Christopher Shaw, and Andrea (Juwan) Wise; a granddaughter; her father, Dan Shima; and her siblings, Tammy (Dale) Saskowski, Paul (Theresa) Shima, and Mary (Dan) Maloney.
