Judith A. Kutcher, 81, of Eldridge, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19, at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Judy was born July 26, 1940, to Harold and Vonnie (Rhuport) Stockbauer in Des Moines. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1958. On Dec. 11, 1965, Judy was united in marriage to R. John Kutcher at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Davenport. To this union, they had three children: Melissa, Amy, and Tim. Judy worked as an administrative assistant at Pilsbury until 1966, retiring so she could focus on raising her family with John. She was a member of the Beta Alpha Master Sorority for over 25 years and a director of Girl Scouts for North Scott in the early 1980s. Judy loved doing counted cross-stitch and created many talented pieces over the years. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye basketball fan and enjoyed collecting pig related figurines and keepsakes.

Judy will be missed by her husband, R. John of 56 years; her children: Melissa Kutcher of Eldridge and Tim (Cherie) Kutcher of Durant; a son-in-law, Ralph Thelen; grandchildren: Brandon, Maryanne Thelen, Kaitlyn, and Samantha; and her siblings: Kathy (Mark) Hoy and Christopher (Terri) Stockbauer. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dennis; and her daughter, Amy.
