A funeral service for Claire “Pat” Clapp, 94, of Bettendorf, was held at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
Mrs. Clapp died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at The Fountains, Bettendorf.
She was born July 6, 1927, in Elmhurst, Ill., the daughter of Horace and Clara (Chandler) Marshall.
She married James Clapp March 4, 1946, in Clinton.
Survivors include her children, Paul (Carol) Clapp, Ankeny, J. Carl (Mona) Clapp, Camanche, and Ruthann Clapp, Bettendorf; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
