NSP reader engagement tops all-time record

All year, through the eyes of the one who edits these editorial pages, it seemed readers were engaged more than ever. Our annual compilation of the names of contributors (below) proves it: 224 individuals submitted 390 letters, "roses" and Op-Ed pieces, not counting NSP staff writers and Kathy O'Bradovich of Iowa Capital Dispatch, which was one of the best new things to happen this year.
