With a standing-room-only crowd watching every spin of every ball, North Scott came oh-so-close to capturing its first-ever Class 2A state bowling championship on Tuesday (Feb. 19) in Waterloo.
Led by the terrific tandem of seniors Isaac Neymeyer and Brock Larson, and bolstered by a quartet of their best friends, including seniors Garrett Holst, Alex Isley, Carter Siebert and Mitch Larson, the Lancers ended up on the very cusp of collecting championship gold.
