Back before COVID-19 wreaked havoc with the school year, students at Alan Shepard Elementary in Long Grove participated in a special archery unit sponsored by Heart Shot Ministry, and taught by North Scott archery coach Troy Bendickson. Bendickson visited the fifth- and sixth-grade physical education classes of teacher Sara Braack on several occasions. NSP photos by Jenna Willet.
