Elementary students from across the North School School District got lessons in self defense last month from Eric and Jodee Gravert of Gravert's ATA. The couple has been volunteering their time to the North Scott district for the past 10 years, and they lead warmups, stretching and teach a mini-class that includes basic self defense techniques, while also teaching self discipline techniques, such as listening, paying attention and following instructions.
