I am not someone that will wake up early to run a race, nor do I have the disposition to fully appreciate the nuances of a jazz performance. However, even I, the uncultured and unathletic person that I am, cannot deny Leon Bismarck “Bix” Beiderbecke has had a great impact on our community and the world of art.
