Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced that Tuesday, Aug. 25, is the first day for voters to submit requests for absentee ballots by mail for the Nov. 3 General Election. You must request an absentee ballot to receive a ballot via the mail. Ballots will begin to be mailed on Oct. 14.
