Phyllis First, Durant, celebrated her 101st Birthday at Cedar Manor in Tipton. She was blessed with bouquets of flowers, several different “dessert sweets”, cards, phonically and visitors.
Phyllis Giesel was born on March 21, 1923, in Ocheyedan, Iowa, the daughter of John and Angela Giesel. She married Henry First on Aug. 24, 1941. He passed away on December 13, 1984.
Her children are Larry (Liz) First, Mesquite, NV and Pat (Rich) Juchter, Wilton. She has 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Phyllis will be returning to her home of 69 years in Durant on March 30. She loves mail so any cards are welcome at 302 6th St in Durant.
