Russell F. Welp, 58, of Hazel Green, Wis., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, Wis., is assisting the family with arrangements.
Russell Welp was born Aug. 25, 1960, in Dubuque, the son of Frank and Rita (Schauer) Welp.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
His hobbies were deer hunting, fishing, and making fishing lures.
Survivors include his siblings, Pat (Jerry) Cullen, Platteville, Wis., Joyce (Ed) Kuhle and Greg (Diane) Welp, all of East Dubuque, Ill., Rita (Jim) Schlegel and Gail Welp, all of Dubuque, Glen (Philly) Welp, Cuba City, Paul (Sara) Welp, Spring Green, Wis., Tom (Janice) Welp, Dickeyville, Wis., Bud (Esther) Welp, Albuquerque, N.M., and Jim (Linda) Welp, Donahue.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Arlene Smothers, Mary Merfeld, and Marilyn Welp.
