Private graveside services were held for Ellene Harlow, 101, of Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Harlow died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Silvercrest Garner Assisted Living.
Ellene Fahrenkrug was born Oct. 24, 1916, in Buffalo Township, the daughter of George and Emma (Buemann) Fahrenkrug.
She married William Harlow on July 16, 1933, in Morrison, Ill. He died in 2003.
She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1978.
Her hobbies were ballroom dancing, swimming, playing bridge, and golf.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki (Joseph) Simpson.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
