A private family inurnment service for Bradley David Whitesell, 59, of Dixon, will be held at a later date in the Dixon Cemetery. The Bentley Funeral Home, Durant, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Whitesell died Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Society, Davenport.
Bradley Whitesell was born Feb. 27, 1959, in Illinois, the son of Clarence and Doris (Tharp) Whitesell. He graduated from Westmer High School, Joy, Ill., in 1977, and graduated with his CPA from St. Ambrose University.
He married Patricia DeSchinckel on Jan. 16, 1987, in Davenport.
He worked for 10 years as an accountant at the Handicapped Development Center, Davenport.
His hobbies were hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeremy Whitesell, Dixon; a grandson, Cameron Whitesell; his mother, Doris Whitesell, Rock Island; and a sister, Ruth Whitesell, East Moline.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Whitesell; his father, Clarence Whitesell; and a sister, Vicki Whitesell.
Memorials may be made to the Bradley Whitesell Memorial Fund.
