Linda A. Shaw of Eldridge will celebrate her 80th birthday with a party on Saturday, Sept. 2. All friends and relatives are invited to call starting at noon at the Long Grove Civic Center, 114 N. 1st St., Long Grove. No gifts, please.
Linda Phelan was born Aug. 30, 1943. She married Roger Shaw on June 13, 1964, in Davenport.
She was employed at Midland Press until her retirement.
In 2017, she was named Irish Mother of the Year.
She is the mother of Dan (Chris) Shaw of Blue Grass, Doug (Dawn) Shaw of Davenport, Brian (Viki) Shaw of Aurora, Ill., and Barry (Holly) Shaw of Eldridge.
Her grandchildren are Dustin Shaw, Drew Shaw, Taylor (Shaw) and Mitch Garrett, Jonathan Shaw, Thomas Shaw, Evelyn Shaw, and Hayden Shaw.
