Don Holst
Don Holst of Walcott will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house on Saturday, March 24. All friends and relatives are invited to call from noon – 3 p.m. at the Walcott American Legion. No gifts, please.
Don was born April 9, 1938, in Davenport. He married Marieta DePorter in 1961.
His children are Myra (Perry) Cooper of San Antonio, Texas, Mike (Tina) Holst of Stockton, Tom (Ann) Holst of Walcott, Rita (Kurt) Freese of Ida Grove, Iowa, and Renae (Jim) Lind of Belton, Mo.
He has 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
