William “Bill” Haycraft of Eldridge celebrated his 90th birthday with a family luncheon on Dec. 30 at the Princeton home of his granddaughter, Stephanie Boeding.
Mr. Haycraft was born Dec. 29, 1933, near Dawson, Ill. He married his wife, Virginia, on Dec. 23, 1955, in Riverton, Ill.
He was employed with Bankers Life & Casualty Insurance, followed by many years of building houses as Haycraft Builders. You might recognize Bill from many years of serving customers at Ace Hardware in Eldridge.
He is a member of St. Ann’s Church in Long Grove.
He is the father of Randy (Jodi) Haycraft of LeClaire, Dave (Janet) Haycraft of Eldridge, Scott (Kim) Haycraft of Eldridge, Jeff (Kelley) Haycraft of Hiawatha, and Heather (Hany) Khoury of Eldridge.
His grandchildren are Shaun Haycraft, Benjamin, Matthew and Josh Haycraft, Karen Hammer, Jedediah Haycraft, Stephanie Boeding, Brianna Bell, Hazel and Olive Khoury. He has 13 great-grandchildren.
