Larry Alvin Stoltenberg, 88, of Walcott, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at The Fountains of Bettendorf. Per his request, he has chosen cremation rites, and no public services are planned.
He was born April 27, 1936, in Davenport, the son of Alvin and Alice (Umland) Stoltenberg. He graduated from Durant High School in 1955. He served in the Army National Guard, including active duty.
He was a lifelong farmer.
He was a member of a polka club. He loved polka music, dancing and antiques.
Survivors include a sister, Sylvia (Don) Andera; aunts Mildred (George) Artus, Irene (Arnie) Fagner and Bernice (Stan) Muller; uncle Delbert (Alice) Umland; niece Ronda (Todd) Hansen; nephews Roger (Lori) Andera), David (Courtney) Stoltenberg, and Steve Stoltenberg; and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Sidney Stoltenberg.
