The Wilton American Legion presented a power point program to Mrs. Kroeger’s fifth grade art students explaining the meaning of the patriotic poppy, veterans and Memorial Day. The students were asked to create a poster for the Poppy Poster Contest. The posters were created during the month of April and then presented to the auxiliary. The women of the auxiliary chose the three posters they liked best in each of the three art classes. Each child received a prize for competing in the contest. The posters will be displayed in the Wilton Post Office windows during the month of May.
