Christi L. Heath, 47, of Wilton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, after a brief illness at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A visitation was held from 9 to 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 29, at Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton. A graveside service followed the visitation at 11:30 a.m. at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. Christi was born in Davenport on Sept. 12, 1976. Christi married Jason P. Nelson on May 19, 2018. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 2020.
Christi attended Wilton and Durant Community Schools. She had worked at Courtyard Estates in Walcott, Wilton Retirement Community and University of Iowa Hospitals. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.
Christi is survived and lovingly remembered by her father, Arthur Ramirez of Wilton; and her aunt, Marlene (Robert) Westphal of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her mother Donna (Gilbert) Ramirez; and her husband, Jason Nelson.
