New lights approved for the Westview Park softball field

On Monday, Aug. 24, Parks and Recreation Superintendent Kasey Robeson informed the Wilton City Council that the lights don’t work and are unusable at the Westview Park softball field. She submitted two quotes to install new lights, fixtures and poles, along with a remote monitoring system for on/off and dimming control. The council approved $79,910 to Musco Sports Lighting for the new lights. The company has agreed to donate the old Field of Dreams fixtures as part of the discounted package.
