Last week, two major bills were signed into law. The bill that protects girls’ sports from including biological boys was signed by Gov. Kim Reynolds on March 3. I have heard from a significant number of constituents and while the support for my position isn’t unanimous, it is overwhelming among Democrats, Republicans, and Independents that biological boys shouldn’t be competing in girls’ sports. For those who have asked, I have said that I have the same position on this as Caitlyn Jenner – someone who knows more about this issue than almost anyone in the entire country since Caitlyn is a trans female and former Olympic gold medalist.
