On Monday, Aug. 24, Parks and Recreation Superintendent Kasey Robeson informed the Wilton City Council that the lights don’t work and are unusable at the Westview Park softball field. She submitted two quotes to install new lights, fixtures and poles, along with a remote monitoring system for on/off and dimming control. The council approved $79,910 to Musco Sports Lighting for the new lights. The company has agreed to donate the old Field of Dreams fixtures as part of the discounted package. more

The Tri County Community Club has another successful peach sale in the books!  This is the group’s top fund raiser for the year and this year TCCC sold 565 flats.  Rain caused a small hiccup on pick up day.  A BIG thank you to Durant’s Volunteer Fire Department who allowed us to use the back of their building for customers to pick up peaches this year. more
