West Liberty High School continúa forjando una tradición de excelencia en el ámbito del lenguaje y la escritura, ya que Mallory Wulf, estudiante de último año, obtuvo recientemente un reconocimiento a nivel estatal por sus habilidades lingüísticas y de redacción. Mallory fue nombrada ganadora en la categoría de escritura en español del quinto Concurso Anual de Escritura para Estudiantes de Secundaria de Iowa, organizado por el Departamento de Lenguas y Literaturas de la Universidad del Norte de Iowa (UNI), haciéndose acreedora a una beca de 500 dólares. Su obra- la cual se inscribe en el género de no ficción o escritura creativa en español, será publicada junto con otras de las mejores propuestas en una colección impresa y digital. Asimismo, recibió una beca de 500 dólares como reconocimiento a su logro. Esta no es la primera vez que un estudiante de West Liberty gana este galardón; hace un par de años, Magaly Kivi recibió el mismo premio por un texto que escribió acerca de su identidad. more
