Saundra Jeanne Cole, 75 of Wilton, IA, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Lutheran Living in Muscatine. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. at the Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilton Fire/EMS in her memory. Sandi was born in Muscatine on May 23, 1947, to Ellwyn and Bernice (Beinke) Cole.
Sandi graduated from Wilton High School in 1965. She retired in 2011 from Eastern Iowa Light and Power in Wilton after 45 years of service.
She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved attending her family’s sporting events.
Sandi is survived and lovingly remembered by her niece Stephanie (Jake) Maine, of Wilton; nephews: Kevin (Jessie) Sandersfeld, of Mount Pleasant, and Randy (Elizabeth) Cole, of Tucson, AZ; cousin (whom she thought of as a brother) Scott (Karen) Holmes, of Wilton; great-nieces and great-nephews: Kaedon, Kalen, Krue, Kinnick, Madison, Jayden, Jordyn, Alyssa, Michelle, Michael, Eric and Kyle; and sister-in-law Karen (Robert) Beatty, of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law Beth (Arlo) Sandersfeld; brothers William and Stanley Cole; and nephew Brett Sandersfeld.
