Retiring Nichols police chief to serve until July

The City of Nichols Council worked on details in transitioning the newly appointed Chief of Police Dominic Wheeler, a Sergeant with the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office, in replacing retiring veteran Chief Jeff Jirak.
