Phyllis Krebs of Durant will be honored with a private family dinner Feb. 5 in celebration of her 80th birthday.
The daughter of Allan and Gertrude (Bangert) Otto, Phyllis was born Feb. 5, 1941 in Davenport. She married Arlo Krebs Dec. 2, 1961 in Davenport.
She was employed in the Hy-Vee deli on West Kimberly in Davenport.
Her children include Cheryl Krebs of Davenport, Debbie (Randy) Esbaum of Cedar Rapids, Neal (Colleen) Krebs of Durant, and Brian (Tracy) Krebs of Durant. There are three grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and two step-great-grandchildren. She has one sister, Bernice Koberg of Walcott, and one brother-in-law, Marvin Wulf of Abingdon, Illinois.
