Phillip Harris

Phillip Harris Jr., 67, of Wilton, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, at his home in Wilton.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 (today), from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.  Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Phillip.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Phillip Richard Harris Jr. was born on Sept. 23, 1957, in Muscatine, the son of Phillip and Mary (Foster) Harris Sr.  On Oct. 11, 1980, he was united in marriage to Robin Brierly in Muscatine.  Phillip was a zookeeper in Muscatine and later worked at Stockton Quality Foundry.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing euchre; taking part in the demolition derby, dirt track racing and playing in many fast pitch and slow pitch softball leagues.  Phillip was always joking and was known as a prankster.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.   

Phillip will be deeply missed by his wife Robin of Wilton; children, Rachel (Andy) Ledger of Wilton, Kimberly Harris of Wilton, Cody (Rebecca) Harris of Moscow; grandchildren, Clay Ledger, Koy Harris, Kinley Ledger, Harper Harris and Hunter Harris; siblings, Mary Ann (Lonnie) Ford of Atalissa, Diane Nistor of Muscatine; David (Lori) Harris of Muscatine, Dale Harris of Wilton, Doug (Paula) Harris of Wilton and Cathy (Craig) Samuelson of Muscatine; brothers-in-law, Mike Samuelson of Muscatine and Santiago “JR” Guevera of Muscatine; mother-in-law, Linda Brierly of Moscow.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Guevera and Patty Samuelson; brother-in-law, Gheorghe Nistor and father-in-law, George Brierly.
