Ron and Ellen Paulsen of Durant will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on March 13. A family gathering will be held at a later date.
Ron Paulsen and Ellen Ploen were married at Calvary United Methodist Church in Walcott on March 13, 1971.
They are the proud parents of Jennifer (Travis) Garrett of New Palestine, Indiana; Teresa (Lance) Meyer of West Branch; and Lance (Sarah) Paulsen of Chicago. Their grandchildren are Kennedy and Phoenix Garrett, Savannah and Lanie Meyer, and Stella and Jack Paulsen.
