As the weather improves and Scott County residents look forward to water crafting activities, North Scott Junior High teacher Courtney Wiedenmann’s students spent a day last month at the Regional Innovation Center learning about water safety from conservation officer Brooks Vanderbeek of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
