Ruth Heuer, a resident of Grand Haven in Eldridge, celebrated her 100th birthday on Oct. 20. Family and invited friends gathered at the Long Grove Civic Center to celebrate Ruth’s big day.
She was born Oct. 23, 1924, in LeClaire to Otto and Martha Wendhausen.
She is the mother of Dale (Nina) Baetke of Princeton, Margaret (Gerry) Belter of Maquoketa, and Arlen (Hollie) Baetke of Davenport.
