Mr. Arp was born Jan. 31, 1942. He married Mary Brus Arp on Nov. 30, 1963.
He was employed with H&W Motor Express for 28 years, retiring in 2000. He then owned and operated Arp’s Lawn Service for 15 years. He is a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
He is the father of Susan (Steve) Kroeger of Eldridge, and Andrew (Aurora) Arp of Santa Clarita, Calif. His grandchildren are Jason Kroeger and Ashley Thiede. He has two great-grandchildren.
