A burial service for Warren Gries, 73, of Long Grove, was held Monday, June 21, at Rock Island National Cemetery. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Gries died Friday, June 11, 2021, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.
Warren Gries was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Davenport, the son of Eldon and Elna (Kroeger) Gries.
He married Marlies Ryner on Jan. 1, 1966, at Faith Lutheran Church, Eldridge.
Survivors include his children, Kenneth (Julie) Gries and Lisa (Robert) Hilsenbeck; and five grandchildren.
