A memorial service for Violet Marie Olds, 90, was held at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Cunnick-Collins Celebration of Life Center, Davenport. Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the mortuary. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded, and private family inurnment followed in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Olds died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at Bickford Cottage.
Violet Berger was born Feb. 16, 1932, in South Amana, the daughter of Arnold and Clara Berger.
She married Charles Olds on March 17, 1951, in Davenport.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Olds, Bettendorf, and Kathryn “Kat” Smith, Davenport; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
