Robert W. Reimers, 81, of Davenport, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at the Kahl Home, Davenport. Per his request, no services will be held. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Robert Reimers was born Aug. 10, 1938, in Durant, the son of George and Viola (Frahm) Reimers.
He married Lois Petersen on July 23, 1966, in Davenport.
He retired after many years from J.C. Penney, where he worked in maintenance.
His hobbies were dabbling in the stock market, gardening, fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; his children, Angela (Jason) Goettig, Davenport, and Andrew (Sonya) Reimers, Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Lewis and Hazel Goettig; a sister, Roberta “Bert” Votino, Davenport; and a brother, Roger (Carol) Reimers, Bloomington, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Don Votino.
