A funeral service for Richard R. Clark, 90, of Donahue, formerly of Eldridge, was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Burial was in the Confidence (Iowa) Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, Feb. 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge.
Mr. Clark died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at his daughter’s home in Donahue.
Richard Clark was born Sept. 8, 1930, in rural Wayne County, Iowa, the son of Clourus and Mae (Brown) Clark. In June of 1951, he married Gertrude L. Greenfield.
Survivors include his daughter, Susan (David) Newsum, Donahue; his son, Steven (Janet) Clark, Collinsville, Okla.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Greenfield, Waco, Texas.
