Patricia Lybarger died April 11, 2021, peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with cancer. Her last few months she was able to spend with her sister, Margaret Santee, and niece Gina Pewe, who cared for her until she passed. She was born in DeWitt on Jan. 24, 1933, to Charles and Catherine (Scannell) Bruckman. She met and married Bennett Lybarger on June 12, 1954, and lived in Eldridge and Henderson, Nev. Patricia leaves behind a wonderful son, James, her beloved and loving daughter Judi, and son-in-law Phillip Arnts, granddaughter, Desiree Taylor and grandson-in-law James, and great-granddaughter Jordyn, and granddaughter Rene Albers, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Charles and Dennis, sister Cathy, sons Fred and Paul, and her husband of nearly 50 years, Benny. No service will be held. She will be buried in Boulder City, Nev., with Benny in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
