Obituary: Kay Hobbs

A funeral service for Kay Louise Hobbs, 84, of Bettendorf, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. John’s United Methodist Church, Davenport. Interment was in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation was Friday, July 31, from 4-8 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport.

Mrs. Hobbs died Saturday, July 25, 2020, at her home.

Kay Bryant was born in Princeton, Ill., the daughter of Jack and Gladys Bryant.

She married James Hobbs.

Survivors include her children, Rhonda (Ed) Benizzi, Jacksonville, Fla., Lisa (Rich) Gentry, Bettendorf, Jennifer (Nick) Vanoven, Sorrento, Fla., and Todd (Christy) Hobbs, Parker, Colo.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy (Dick) Poffenberger, Tucson, Ariz.
